Eligibility criteria


Candidates require a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate ( 50% for SC/ST/OBC) in the Bachelors’ degree in Building Engineering or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Building Science or Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent, or Five-Year Diploma in Construction Technology of a recognized University or an institution established by an act of Parliament or State Legislature.


Evaluation criteria


Applicants are evaluated on the basis of their portfolio of work, performance in the qualifying examination, personal interview and work experience. Although it is not imperative but it is required for applicants to this course to qualify GATE examination conducted by IITs for admission to masters programmes across India.

31 seats are allotted for the programme and Division is specified below:

  • General-17
  • OBC-8
  • SC-4
  • ST-2


Important dates

  • Admission forms and brochure are published on the SPA website ( around month of  April & May.

  • Deadline for submission of filled applications is usually end of May.

  • Interviews are carried out around end of June or beginning of July.

  • Results are decared mid July and classes comence from last week of July.
